Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from B.J., Erin, Bailey, and Beckham! We love you all and want you to know that we are thinking of you. This Christmas season is extra sweet for us. It was 5 days before Christmas last year that we had Brian. We had to celebrate that Christmas without our little boy, but have the incredible blessing of celebrating this Christmas with another boy, Beckham. He is such a blessing for us, and soothes a lot of the emptiness we felt for Brian. Bailey continues to be sweetheart that she is. Her mind is going on 10, what a smartie! May you all be blessed and happy not only this holiday season, but always. we love you.

Beckham Jon Cox

Erin and I would like to announce our new arrival. His name is Beckham Jon Cox. Contrary to what will certainly be popular belief, we did not name him after David Beckham. We just liked the name. The fact that David will not be playing soccer forever was the clincher for me. I will hopefully only endure the David thing for a few years. Beckham was born at 1:55 a.m. He weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz. and is 18 inches long. He is quite the cutie, enjoy the pictures!

Halloween 2008

Here are our little Trick-or-Treaters. This was a new experience for us, Zach chose not to go trick-or-treating!! I guess we cannot keep them young forever. Of course our sweet, passive daughter had to be Dracula! She had to have the blood dripping out of her mouth or it just wasn't good enough! Hope to see some pictures of our other Halloween kids.

Ashtyn's horse riding lessons

Ashtyn has been taking horse riding lessons. The highlight of the experience so far has been stepping in the horse poop. Ashtyn was beside herself with joy that she was able to tromp around in the poop. One boot full = one large smile.

Concert on Wednesday

Hello ya'll.

To those of you who are interested in going to my concert on Wednesday night it starts at 7:30. It is in the Austad Auditorium located in the Browning Center on WSU campus. It will only be about an hour and a half. I will be playing my solo very first, and then conducting a piece shortly after that, so if you need to leave early that would be fine. Here is a link with a map of the campus so you can see exactly where it is and where to park. It is on the south end of campus and has a weird looking glass pyramid/cone at the front of the building above the main entrance. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm getting kind of nervous, so if any of you have any advice on performance anxiety give me a call. Oh ya, they have a rule that no children under 8 are allowed...sorry.

Ashtyn's haircut

We did it! Ashtyn finally talked me into letting her get her hair cut short!! I only cried for a minute.....she would look cute with any hair cut! Here are the before and after pictures!

B.J. and Erin

Hey everybody! Erin and I are doing great. I am gearing up to finish this semester of school. I have a concert at Weber State on April 16th that you are all invited to come to. I will actually be a featured soloist in the concert playing one of my favourite concertos. I will also be conducting a piece and playing percussion for the rest of the concert. I thought for a few days that the concerto wasn't going to work out, but it will after all!

We have been trying to call everybody and let them know about our good news, but efforts have been thworted at times. If you haven't heard don't be upset, but we're expecting another baby! It looks like this one is going to be due sometime around Thanksgiving.

Bailey continues to be the cutie that she is. I would say she is really growing up, but she isn't really growing that fast! Mentally however she is growing up very fast. She loves to talk and dance and jump off things onto pillows. She loves to read as well. There are times she tires mom and dad out with books. We've got some cute pictures if you want to see them

Randy and I will be celebrating 13 years of marriage this September. Zachary just turned 10 in February and Ashtyn is 6.

We are back in the soccer groove...if anyone is interested, Zach's soccer game schedule can be found here and Ashtyn's is yet to come. Zach is doing well in scouts and piano. Of course his favorite thing is still the PlayStation! Ashtyn is involved in a fun art class that she LOVES and will be taking horse-back riding lessons in May!
